Pace Tool & Engineering was founded in 2001 by Todd Burbrink, Don Coombs, and Mark Thomson.  Together, the three partners have over sixty years of experience in different disciplines of the tool trade, including hydraulic and pneumatic machines, CNC machining, computer aided drafting, progressive dies, part fixturing, and gauging.  With this technical expertise, they offer sheet metal stamping dies, fixturing, custom machining, prototype parts, and manufacturing support for production welding and automated assembly equipment.

The partners have not only immersed themselves in the tool trade but have learned the importance of combining business with technical expertise.  They’ve learned that it’s not always easy to manage a high growth company and admit that any business needs to “be prepared to work long, hard hours when required to honor commitments.”   They also recognize the importance of cooperating with their competition, and through this, their competitors have become some of their best customers.
