TLS.net began in 1986 as a computer service and repair resource for local firms.  Their growth throughout the 1990’s was directly tied to the rapid increase of dependence upon computers in small and mid-sized businesses, along with the rush to discover the unexplored potential of the Internet.

 

For many enterprises, Y2K compliance marked the high-water point of the technology boom, before the bubble burst.  For TLS, however, the early years of the new decade were anything but a technology bust.  Their solid foundation and “One Stop Shop” approach provided them with the tools to not only weather the storm, but to benefit as their market share grew.

One of the cornerstones in the success of TLS has been their willingness to buck the trend.  While they watched other technology firms narrow their focus, they found success in broadening theirs.  By offering a range of complimentary services, they have avoided becoming a niche company.  By offering Internet Access, On-Site Network Integration, Web/Application Development, and Server Co-Location among others, they have been able to position themselves as the single phone call a client should make for any technology need, donning the catch phrase “Let TLS Take Care of it!”

 

With the addition of VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) and FREE Long Distance services to their product line, TLS stands poised to strengthen its position and offer greater productivity to its clients.
