LHP Software opened its doors midway through 2001 and offers engine software and IT services to its customers.  The company’s specialty is determining customer requirements and providing high quality software to meet their needs.  LHP concentrates their project management efforts to track the budget and delivery schedules to meet or exceed customer expectations.  They offer a wide range of products and services:

• System requirements definition and documentation

• System architecture and design

• Controls Analysis and controls algorithm design

• Verification and validation of control systems

• System tuning and calibration

• Software development and maintenance

• Modeling and simulation of control systems

• Real-time simulation

• Application architecture and design

LHP is a survivor of the economic and technological downturn of 2001.  While LHP was beginning operations, several of its competitors were actually going out of business.  LHP was able to continue during a difficult time by keeping its expenses under control and making strategic investments in technology and infrastructure.  Ironically, only four short years later, LHP is eligible for both the 2006 Inc. 500 and the Indiana Entrepreneurial Growth Award.  Since opening, LHP has grown at least 40% each year, averaging 75% growth per year over the four years we studied.  

With new facilities opening in Lexington, KY and Wuhan, China, LHP is likely to continue growing at an extraordinary rate.  Despite this growth, their desire to take care of their current customers first and to concentrate on their core business remains their primary focus.
