The mission of the Women’s Conference is to challenge,
motivate and “connect” women in order to enhance their
professional lives. The Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce
is pleased to have provided this opportunity for area
professional women for nine years, with our quality, local
Conference.
Each year dedicated women serve on selected committees in
order to plan the various aspects of the conference. The
Program Committee has secured this year’s key-note
speakers - Christine Cashen and Colette Carlson. Each are
very motivational and will provide attendees tips to
“survive and thrive” in the professional world! Local
speakers, addressing a wide range of topics, will also be
featured.
Only through sponsorship participation of Chamber
businesses is this high quality Women’s Conference made
available. Various levels of sponsorship are provided,
ensuring conference involvement for your size of
business. The Finance Committee is presently making calls
on previous Conference sponsors, and possible new sponsors
as well.
The conference also presents a great marketing opportunity
for Chamber members by becoming a “goody bag donor”, which
means contributing 250-300 free “goodies” of your
choosing, to be placed in each attendee’s bag. Examples
of past “goodies” include: pens, candy, umbrellas, key
rings, sewing kits, and cook books, just to name a few.
This is a chance to be creative in the way you promote
your business. The women always enjoy all the wonderful
gifts they receive and can’t wait to dig into their “goody
bag” at the end of the day! A member of the Facilities
Committee will be contacting you soon for your marketing
donation.
