Chamber Volunteer Spotlight

Rebekah Walsh, Vice President and Private Banking Officer at Salin Bank.

Rebekah’s responsibilities include working as a relationship banker to assist business clients with any personal banking needs, as well as any commercial loan or commercial deposit needs they may have. She is also responsible for coordinating clients with other areas of the bank. Rebekah has worked at Salin for 13 years.

Besides being an active volunteer at the Chamber, she is the Sponsorship Chairperson for Columbus Regional Hospital Foundation’s Reverse Raffle to benefit Volunteers in Medicine. I am a member of Columbus Service League, and I currently co-Chair the Community Research Committee. I am a community advisor to Heritage Fund’s Development Committee. I have been either the Chair or Co-Chair of the Program Committee for the Women’s’ Professional Development Conference for eight years.

When asked why she enjoys being a Chamber volunteer, Rebekah said: “I enjoy volunteering for the Chamber because I am able to merge together my career with working on the Professional Women’s’ Conference. I also LOVE working with the Program committee. They are an outstanding group of women who work hard every year to put on an informative and fun Conference. I have also been able to refer clients from the bank to the Chamber, and see how much the Chamber benefits its’ members.”
