Influence Skills to get Results

Results happen through people.   Individuals who have developed the ability to influence others increase their likelihood of achieving desired results.  This session will explore a few simple tools that can be immediately added to your influence tool box. This workshop will be facilitated by Fredricka Joyner.

Fredricka’s practice focuses on partnering with individuals, organizations, and communities to unleash potential and achieve new levels of performance.  This work takes many forms and usually addresses aspects of three fundamental questions: What should we do? How are we doing? and/or How do we need to grow?

Fredricka is on the full-time faculty of the Columbus, IN-based undergraduate and graduate business programs of Indiana University.  She is an accomplished speaker and trainer and makes frequent local, regional, and national presentations.  Fredricka has authored numerous journal articles such as Building Bridges: Enhancing the Possibility of Partnership and Quality and Participation in Community Settings that address community-based work.

Fredricka has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and Education from New College, a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management with a concentration in organization development from Antioch University Los Angeles, and a Ph.D. in Community Formation from Union Institute.  Recent continuing education has focused on developing expertise in the field of leadership development including topics such as creating a leadership development infrastructure, assessment, coaching, emotional intelligence, and a succession planning pipeline.
