was awarded the 2008 Chamber of the Year Award by the
Indiana Chamber Executives’ Association (ICEA) at their
winter conference.

results- Women in Business Event |

Our first
Women in Business Event is scheduled for Thursday,
February 21st at 11:30am at the Columbus Area Chamber of
Commerce. Results happen through people. Individuals who
have developed the ability to influence others increase
their likelihood of achieving desired results. This
session will explore a few simple tools that can be
immediately added to your influence tool box. This
workshop will be facilitated by Fredricka Joyner. |

Business Need to Know About |

SJR 1 proposes an amendment
to the state constitution to limit the maximum property
taxes that may be imposed on property – 1% for homesteads,
2% for rental properties and 3% for businesses. The
measure passed the Senate and now moves to the House for
consideration.
