Volunteering with the Chamber can help grow your business

Are you looking for ways to be more involved in your Chamber of Commerce?

The Chamber has many ways to get involved through programming and events. We would love to have your input on our programming, including; 3rd House Sessions- Free open forums with the Indiana State Legislators open to  membership and general public providing opportunities to voice concerns and interests, Agribusiness Events- Events to build and strengthen relationships between the rural and urban communities, Columbus Young Professionals- Various social networking, professional development, and community advocacy events for Twenty- and Thirty-somethings, Golf Outing- Area business leaders and golfers celebrate a day of networking and competition at our annual Hackers Holiday, Meet Me @ 5!- Informal networking events with food and beverages designed to offer a way for you and your business to increase visibility in the community.

Ribbon Cuttings- Existing business leaders gather to welcome new businesses to the community and the Chamber of Commerce, Tri-County Business Expo- Premier business-to-business trade exposition involving businesses leaders from Bartholomew, Jackson, and Jennings Counties, Women in Business Events- Quarterly events focusing on networking and professional development for women, and the Women’s Professional Development Conference- Professional women gather to be inspired, motivated and energized at a day long conference.

Most of these events have committees that meet a few months out of the year.  Depending on your schedule, there is a committee that will work for you.

Please contact Kami or Valerie for more information and a Volunteer Interest Form.
